Purchase Option & Cancellation Policy
Some items in our store may be offered as a Pre-Order or, in future, as a Subscription. This policy explains how each purchase type works, and how you can change or cancel one. This policy should be read together with our Return & Refund Policy, which governs returns and refunds once an order has been delivered.
Pre-Orders
A pre-order is a purchase of a product that is out of stock, on back-order, or not yet available in our inventory at the time of purchase, including instruments and equipment we source or special-order from a manufacturer on your behalf.
- At checkout, we may collect a partial deposit, the full payment, or no payment, depending on the product. Where a deposit or partial payment is taken, your remaining payment method may be stored securely and charged automatically when the balance becomes due.

Cancelling before the order is placed with our supplier: You may cancel a pre-order and receive a full refund of any amount paid, provided we have not yet placed the corresponding order with our manufacturer or supplier on your behalf. Contact us at sales@sachitools.com to request cancellation.

Cancelling after the order is placed with our supplier: Once we have placed a special or custom order with our manufacturer or supplier to fulfill your pre-order, the deposit or payment made becomes non-refundable, as we have already committed cost on your behalf. This applies even if the product has not yet shipped to you. We will inform you if your specific pre-order has reached this stage upon request.

Cancelling after fulfillment/shipment: Once a pre-ordered item has been fulfilled and shipped, it can no longer be cancelled. You may request a return, exchange, or refund only as permitted under our Return & Refund Policy (e.g., confirmed defect).
- Estimated availability dates for pre-order items are provided in good faith based on information from our suppliers and are not guaranteed. We are not liable for delays caused by our suppliers, manufacturers, or shipping carriers, and will keep you informed of any known delay.
- We reserve the right to cancel a pre-order and issue a full refund if the product becomes permanently unavailable from our supplier.
Subscriptions
We do not currently offer subscription-based purchases, but plan to introduce them in the future for select consumable or recurring-use products (for example, testing reagents or consumable supplies). This section will apply once subscriptions become available, and this page will be updated accordingly.
Where a product is offered as a subscription:
- You will receive repeat deliveries based on the duration and frequency you select at checkout.
- Your payment method will be stored securely and charged automatically for each delivery cycle, unless you choose to pay in advance for a fixed term.
- Some subscriptions may auto-renew at the end of their selected duration unless cancelled beforehand.

You may cancel or change your subscription at any time via the link provided in your order confirmation email, or by contacting sales@sachitools.com.
- To avoid being charged for an upcoming delivery, cancellation must be received at least 3 business days before your next scheduled billing/delivery date. Cancellations received after this point will not stop the delivery already in process, and that delivery will be charged and shipped as scheduled; the subscription will then end after that final delivery.
- Amounts already charged for a delivery that has been dispatched are non-refundable except as provided in our Return & Refund Policy.
Try Before You Buy
We do not currently offer a "try before you buy" purchase option on any product.
General
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any purchase option described in this policy, including pre-orders or subscriptions, at any time. Any changes will not affect an order already confirmed and paid for under the terms in place at the time of purchase. For questions about a specific order, contact us at sales@sachitools.com.
